Ronnie Walsh (b. 1973, Detroit, MI) is an artist based in Los Angeles, CA.

Moving fluidly between tactile abstract expressionism and symbolic surrealism, Walsh’s work investigates the flow of color, physical texture, and emotional resonance. His abstract compositions capture states of vibrational energy, frequency, and movement—often integrating structural elements like heavy impasto or embedded mixed media. His surrealist paintings translate thought, memory, and internal human states into vivid allegorical landscapes and sculpted figures. Driven by a search for alignment with this source energy, each canvas serves as a physical recording of rhythm, gesture, and psychological depth.
